Description We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona. This is a Contract-to-permanent position, offering a great opportunity for someone with a strong background in full-cycle accounting and bookkeeping. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and account reconciliations while utilizing QuickBooks Online and Excel.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee full-cycle bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.

• Process payroll for 15-20 employees accurately and in a timely manner.

• Reconcile all accounts to the general ledger and ensure financial accuracy.

• Prepare and post journal entries as part of the month-end close process.

• Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.

• Collaborate with the accounting clerk to maintain accurate financial records.

• Utilize QuickBooks Online and Excel to manage and report on financial data.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies. Requirements • Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting, including full-cycle accounting responsibilities.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel.

• Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.

• Ability to perform account and bank reconciliations with accuracy.

• Familiarity with posting journal entries and completing month-end close tasks.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams.

• Ability to work onsite in Phoenix, Arizona.
