Description We are looking for a skilled Associate Attorney to join our Insurance Coverage team in San Francisco, California. This position offers a dynamic opportunity to work with clients on insurance-related matters, including coverage analysis, litigation, and alternative dispute resolution. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment and bring a strong commitment to delivering exceptional legal services.

Responsibilities:

• Provide legal counsel to clients on complex insurance coverage matters, including policy interpretation and claims analysis.

• Represent clients in insurance coverage litigation and alternative dispute resolution proceedings.

• Draft and review legal documents such as coverage opinions, pleadings, and settlement agreements.

• Conduct thorough research on case law, statutes, and regulations relevant to insurance coverage.

• Collaborate with clients and team members to develop effective legal strategies and solutions.

• Manage multiple cases simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and client expectations are met.

• Participate in negotiations and mediations to resolve disputes efficiently and effectively.

• Stay informed on industry trends and legal developments impacting insurance coverage and defense.

• Mentor less experienced team members, if applicable, and contribute to a positive team culture. Requirements • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

• Active bar admission in California, or ability to obtain reciprocity if licensed in another state.

• At least 2 years of experience in insurance coverage or insurance defense litigation.

• Strong knowledge of insurance policies, coverage issues, and related legal principles.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly.

• Proven ability to manage multiple cases and meet strict deadlines.

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-oriented environment.
