• Intermediate Accountant

    Robert Half Accountemps (AR)


    Description Candidates for Intermediate Accountant positions should possess solid communication, technology, organizational and analytical skills. Companies hiring senior accountants generally look for at least 5 years experience, along with a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. Accreditations such as certified public accountant (CPA) or certified management accountant (CMA) are also preferred.

    Typical duties include:

    - Accounts Payable

     

    - Accounts Receivable

     

    - Reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger account balances

     

    - Preparing financial statements

     

    - Assessing internal controls, including risk assessments and reviews of risk areas

     

    - Assisting with budget preparation and preparing the monthly budge variance analyses

     

    - Maintaining and reconciling fixed assets schedules

     

    - Assisting with initial internal control evaluations

     

    - Supervising accounting staff

     

    Software Experience: Quick Books, Excel (advanced), Sage, Net Suite, Oracle, Yardi, or other compaparble accounting softwares. Requirements Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, Accounting Functions, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Accrual Accounting, Auditing, Microsoft Excel, Bank Reconciliations, Full Cycle Payroll, NetSuite
