• Compliance Manager

    Overview

     

    This position will support the Bank's compliance program by carrying out various facets of the Bank's Compliance Management System (CMS). In addition to carrying out monitoring procedures for departments throughout the organization, will also serve as the primary compliance resource for the consumer loan function and Marketing approvals. Performs any functions within the scope of authority and expertise to provide the highest level of service to customers and co-workers. (Position will be working on site)

    Responsibilities

    + Support the Bank’s compliance monitoring program by completing periodic reviews and working with business partners to ensure monitoring activities are completed in an effective manner.

    + Oversee third-party compliance monitoring engagements from initial information gathering to the issuance of the final report and follow-up with operating managers for any issues identified.

    + Working closely with business lines, serve as a subject matter expert providing assistance, interpretation, and guidance about the application of various regulations to products, systems, and procedures.

    + Provide guidance to departments on compliance and risk related questions.

    + Respond to consumer compliance issues raised by the Board, Audit Committee, or Senior Management.

    + Assist the Compliance Director during regulatory bank examinations and independent compliance audits.

    + Support the Bank’s regulatory compliance objectives and recommend and implement changes to support prescribed requirements.

    + Represent the Bank through active participation in community and industry organizations and events and promote the business interests of the Bank.

    + Help maintain and update the Bank’s Compliance Risk Assessment

    + Assist the Compliance Director in interpretation and potential impact of new regulations

    Requirements

    + Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of compliance-related experience required

    + Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) designation preferred

    + Banking and/or regulatory experience preferred

    + Highly organized with analytical ability and attention to detail

    + Proficiency in MS Office and Banking systems

    + Exceptional written and oral communication skills
