Job Title: Housing Administrative Assistant
Job Description
The Housing Administrative Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the management of subsidized rental housing programs by managing various administrative tasks and providing exceptional customer service. This position requires strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
+ Handle various office tasks, including customer service, communications, and supply management.
+ Interact with clients and stakeholders to gather necessary information for reviews.
+ Serve as a contact point for tenants and negotiate with relevant parties as needed.
+ Stay informed about relevant laws, regulations, and procedures.
+ Support data entry and maintain records.
+ Help achieve team objectives by completing assigned duties.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in data entry and administration.
+ Experience in property management or RENT CALCULATION or HUD.
+ Task-oriented with strong phone communication skills.
+ Ability to handle a monthly caseload of 15-30 case files.
+ Prior housing administration knowledge is strongly preferred.
+ Independent thinking and discretion, ensuring client confidentiality.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High School Diploma or equivalent required; post high school education or training preferred.
+ Minimum of two years' experience in a professional office setting preferred.
+ Experience working with affordable housing programs and diverse socio-economic populations.
+ Bilingual language skills preferred.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.87 - $27.58/hr.
