Job Title: Millwright Helper

Job Description

This is a contract position lasting through July, where candidates will be involved in constructing a clean room. The clean room comprises metal wall panels inside a building, and candidates will utilize hand and power tools for construction and installation of these panels.

Responsibilities

+ Construct and install metal wall panels for clean rooms using hand and power tools.

+ Interpret and work from blueprints to ensure precise installation.

+ Collaborate with team members, including leads and foremen, to complete the project efficiently.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in construction, carpentry, and framing.

+ Proficiency in working with metal studs and metal framing.

+ Ability to use hand and power tools effectively.

+ Mechanical skills and blueprint interpretation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Minimum of 1 year experience in framing or constructing walls, either metal or wood.

+ Capability to lift up to 50lbs.

+ Willingness to work 10-hour days from Monday to Friday.

Work Environment

The role involves working indoors in a clean room environment alongside a team of 4-5 others, including leads and foremen. The dress code requires work clothes and steel toe boots, with personal protective equipment such as hard hats, safety glasses, and high visibility gear provided by the client. Working hours are from 7am to 5pm, Monday through Friday.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
