Aerotek is seeking a Boiler Maintenance Technician/Stationary Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Boiler Maintenance Technician to maintain, repair, and operate stationary equipment. This includes steam boilers, air compressors, generators, wastewater systems, cooling towers, fire systems, and ammonia refrigeration equipment. You will also operate automation systems to ensure peak performance of the systems, with a focus on maintaining a large freezer system. Your role will include monitoring boiler water, chemicals, wastewater chemicals, and fuel levels, as well as performing proper startup of boilers, refrigeration systems, and wastewater systems. You will test boiler and refrigeration system safeties and record results. Additionally, you will assist the maintenance team in repairing motors, pumps, and various other mechanical systems when breakdowns occur.

Responsibilities

+ Maintain, repair, and operate stationary equipment including steam boilers and refrigeration systems.

+ Monitor and regulate boiler water, chemicals, and fuel levels.

+ Perform proper startup and shutdown of boilers and refrigeration systems.

+ Test and record results for boiler and refrigeration system safeties.

+ Assist the maintenance team in repairing motors, pumps, and various mechanical systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Grade 1, 2 or 3 Stationary Engineering license

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $81000.00 - $92000.00/yr.
