Job Title: Cabinet Painter

Pay: $25-$28/Hour

Experience: 3 years of spray painting and/or woodworking experience

Shift: 1st shift

Job Description

A custom cabinet shop is seeking a painter familiar with woodworking, staining, toning, and wood finishing.

Responsibilities

+ Operate and maintain HVLP spray system

+ Adjust spray guns, fluid pressure, air pressure, and fix bad spray patterns

+ Inspect surfaces before applying finish, checking for cracks and imperfections to ensure a smooth finish

+ Use air-assisted spray guns to seal and topcoat

+ Scuff sand and tone wood as needed

+ Use appropriate tools and equipment to apply finishes evenly and accurately

+ Ensure the final project matches the provided control sample

+ Maintain Quality Assurance for stained and clear-coated projects

Essential Skills

+ 3+ years of spray painting experience

+ Experience with toning

+ Proficiency in sanding, buffing, and filling cracks

+ Skill in painting, paint prep, and sanding

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Proficiency in spray painting

+ Experience with staining and glazing

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
