Description:

Summary:

Provide front counter service to customers. Prepare requested drinks, work with the fellow team members to ensure orders are properly prepared in a timely manner, and efficiently manage the point of sale system.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

+ Maintain knowledge of all menu options, take orders, and serve the prepared items to the guests

+ Accurately follow all cash handling and point of sale system procedures, including but not limited to, cash and comp procedures

+ Ensure all food and drinks are served within health, safety, and sanitation guidelines

+ Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including countertops, floors, tables, front of house equipment

+ Put items away in a timely manner according to procedure, utilizing proper signage

+ Ensure adequate supplies are available for the shift, including ribbons, comp paper, cash drop envelopes and receipt paper

+ Provide outstanding customer service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members

+ Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Qualifications

+ Previous cash handling and customer service experience preferred

+ 6 months of previous experience working in high volume, fast-paced food and beverage environment preferred

+ Prior experience with POS systems preferred

+ Previous experience working in a team or group environment

+ Able to effectively communication in English, both written and verbal

+ Basic computer skills preferred

+ Must be at least 18 years of age

+ High school diploma or equivalent preferred

+ Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company

+ Verify right to work in the United States

Physical Requirements

+ Frequently push and/or pull up to 35 lbs.

+ Frequently lift and/or carry up to 35 lbs. at floor, knee, waist, and/or chest levels

+ Occasionally sit and use tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity

+ Frequently bend, reach, twist, squat, kneel, walk, distinguish between shades of color, and communicate via radio

+ Constant use of hearing and vision, standing, and communicate using a paging system
