    CTG is seeking to fill a Project Coordinator - Nuclear Projects opening for our client in Richland, WA.

     

    **Location:** Richland, WA

    **Duration:** 12 months

    Description:

    Coordinates project teams of one to five people including planning, scheduling, and control of project and program activities. Acts as a specialist for specific projects with detailed knowledge of all aspects of the projects. Maintains a knowledge base of new developments and technology. Monitors projects and recommends changes to improve operating efficiency. Develops budgetary estimates.

    Duties:

    + Manage small-scale projects related to refueling outages, forced outages, and on-line maintenance activities.

    + Provide oversight of planning, leadership, control, and monitoring to ensure safety, quality, schedule adherence, and budget compliance.

    + Execute all aspects of project implementation including budget development, work package preparation, procurement of parts, ALARA planning, safety management, prioritization, resource planning, and work execution.

    + Identify and resolve scheduling delays and conflicts.

    + Track and report cost versus budget on assigned projects.

    + Coordinate with internal stakeholders, engineering teams, and management to ensure project alignment and progress.

    + Develop and manage contracts; liaise with external vendors and contractors.

    + Prepare and deliver written and oral updates to various stakeholders, including senior leadership.

    + Contribute to long-range strategic planning for assigned projects.

    + Support self-assessment and corrective action processes.

    + Participate in outage coordination and OCC (Outage Control Center) support as needed.

    Skills:

    _Required:_

    + Proficiency in basic project management techniques.

    + Strong foundational values related to human performance and cost-effective work execution.

    + Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

    _Desired:_

    + Familiarity with human performance improvement and error reduction techniques.

    + Experience in managing projects involving online work management, refueling/forced outages, or standard project management practices.

    + Understanding of engineering principles or construction methodologies related to nuclear operations.

    Experience:

    _Required:_

    + One (1) year of experience in a technical field with a Bachelor’s degree

    + OR three (3) years of experience in a technical field with an Associate degree

    + OR five (5) years of experience in a technical field with a High School Diploma or GED.

    Education:

    _Required:_

    + Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or a related field

    + OR Associate degree in a technical or related field

    + OR High School Diploma/GED with significant technical experience.

    _Desired:_

    + Project Management Certification (e.g., PMP or equivalent)

    + Construction Management Certification

     

    Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

    The expected base salary for this position ranges from $50,000 to $90,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
