CTG is seeking to fill a Project Support Specialist - Nuclear or Engineering Projects opening for our client in Richland, WA.

**Duration:** 12 months
Description:
This position requires a proactive and independent individual with the ability to work with minimal supervision on moderately complex tasks. The Project Support Specialist will need strong technical and organizational skills, along with attention to detail and accuracy. The role involves managing project documentation, supporting project managers, and ensuring smooth operation of project files, especially within SharePoint and other collaboration tools. The specialist will be responsible for maintaining project files, ensuring that documents are uploaded, published, archived, and training users on these systems. A high level of interpersonal communication and the ability to collaborate across various levels of management and staff is essential. The individual will also be required to perform administrative tasks that support the project lifecycle from startup to closeout.
Duties:
+ Independently manage the organization and maintenance of project SharePoint sites and files, ensuring accurate records retention.
+ Assist project managers with document upload, publication, archiving, and maintaining project files in SharePoint.
+ Provide training to project staff and users on how to use SharePoint effectively.
+ Communicate with site users to identify and meet needs regarding access to SharePoint sites.
+ Provide support for project closeout procedures, including managing document duplication, scanning, printing, transmitting, and archiving.
+ Help with in-processing efforts for new department and contract employees, including paperwork and scheduling training.
+ Support the biennial refueling outage in the assigned capacity.
+ Handle other related duties as necessary to ensure smooth project operations.
Skills:
+ Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams.
+ Ability to manage complex administrative tasks with minimal supervision.
+ Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills, able to handle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
+ Proficient in document management and SharePoint site administration.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present information clearly.
+ Strong interpersonal skills, able to collaborate with various teams and individuals across different organizational levels.
+ Detail-oriented with a strong ability to maintain accuracy while working independently.
+ Customer service and team-oriented mindset.
+ Technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn new software and tools.
Experience:
+ Minimum of two years of advanced administrative or technical experience, preferably in engineering or project management environments.
+ Experience with project management tools and SharePoint.
+ Experience in administrative support within nuclear or engineering-related projects is highly preferred.
+ Previous experience in handling project document management and closeout procedures.
Education:
+ **Bachelor’s Degree** in Applied Management, Business, Project Management, or a related field and at least two years of relevant administrative or technical experience; **OR**
+ **Associate Degree** in Management, Technical, or Science-related field and at least four years of relevant experience; **OR**
+ **High School Diploma/GED** and at least six years of advanced administrative or technical experience.
Desired Education and Experience:
+ A Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Applied Management, Business, or Project Management.
+ Prior experience in commercial nuclear or engineering project environments.
+ Experience with advanced document editing and Microsoft Word.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $46,000 to $90,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
