The role you’ll contribute:

_Performs the duties of the Registered Nurse in the Imaging Department. Has been specially trained in radiological and vascular interventional procedures and techniques, PICC line placement and is part of the Imaging Team. Responsible for meeting hospital standards of care using the standard nursing process and skills of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation for the following patient care populations: geriatrics, adult, adolescent and pediatric. Properly documents patient care given. Assists other department staff in provision of basic patient care in Imaging. Communicate with Radiologists, Vascular Surgeons, other Physicians, department staff, nursing staff and patients and their families as needed for high quality patient care. Adheres to the Florida Hospital Corporate Compliance Plan, and to all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state and federal agencies and accrediting bodies._

+ _Assists IR and general Radiologists, Vascular Surgeons, and other Physicians in the Imaging department_

+ _PICC and midline placement using Ultrasound technology_

+ _PAT patients scheduled for department procedures_

+ _Administration of moderate sedation of imaging patients_

+ _Post procedural education for all imaging patients_

+ _Participate in ongoing process improvement and patient experience processes_

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing

Must have experience in hemodynamic monitoring

2 hospital/ICU nursing experience

2 Critical care experience

BCLS - Basic Life Support Required

ACLS

Preferred qualifications:

Bachelors in nursing

Proficiency in acute-care nursing

Vascular Interventional knowledge and skills

CCRN - Critical Care Registered Nurse

VA-BC - Vascular Access-Board Certified

Interventional Radiology Upon Hire
