We are currently looking for an Accounting Analyst II/III/Sr to work in our Houston, TX location.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Responsible for revenue accounting, contract reporting and analysis. Provides ad hoc analysis to support the Commercial, Regulatory, Tax, Investor Relations and Corporate Development departments. This position requires the ability to analyze market trends, understand industry dynamics and Boardwalk's drivers of revenue. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is capable of working independently with a strong ability to multi-task. This position requires strong communication skills both written and oral, with ability to work under tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Contract/Revenue reporting and analysis

+ Provide support for internal and external auditors

+ Assist in ad hoc projects

REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:

+ Understanding of GAAP accounting

+ Experienced in Power Point, Excel and databases

+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

+ Requires commercial presence and ability to work with senior management

+ Strong attention to detail

+ Strong analytical skills and ability to multi-task

+ Highly organized and excellent time management

PREFERRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:

+ 2-5 years in natural gas or liquids industry

+ Experience in related analytical role

+ Understanding of GAAP and FERC accounting

+ Understanding of ASC 606

+ Experience in Power BI

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

+ Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Economics or Finance

PREFERRED EDUCATION:

+ CPA
