The Teresian House is currently hiring LPNs. These opportunity are for Part-Time evenings (2:45pm-11:15pm) and nights (10:45pm-7:15am).

Role Responsibilities:

+ Administer medications and perform treatments as ordered by physician. Document appropriately.

+ Assist with direct resident care as necessary, including personal care, feeding, care of environment changes, and safety.

+ Ensure recording of Intakes and Output, toileting records, turning and positioning sheets and other documentation in neighborhood.

+ Complete incident reports and initiate investigations occurring on assigned unit, and forward to RN Nurse Manager.

+ Notify RN for assessment as needed.

+ Initiate the transfer of residents to the hospital as necessary and ensure completion of necessary paperwork.

Qualified LPN candidates will:

+ Have graduated a state approved school of nursing

+ Possess a current license as a Licensed Practical Nurse in New York State

+ Show the ability to work well with others.

+ Exhibit a genuine interest in the care of geriatric residents

+ Have a willingness to perform all duties to support Teresian House residents

+ Possess CPR certification.
