Key Job Responsibilities

+ Maintenance and Repair: Perform maintenance, repair, service, and inspection of underground mining equipment.

+ Diagnostic Skills: Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems with precision.

+ On-Site Service: Adjust, repair, or replace defective equipment parts, components, or systems at customer sites.

+ Testing: Test repaired equipment to ensure proper performance.

+ Technical Expertise: Work with schematics and troubleshoot low voltage control systems.

+ Alignment: Align couples on motors, transfer cases, and gearboxes.

Qualifications/Requirements

+ Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.

+ Education: Equivalent to a complete accredited apprenticeship or a one-year technical college education.

+ Underground Experience: Preferred for this role.

+ Technical Skills: Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
