Holcim plans to list the new company on the NYSE by the end of the first half of 2025 and establish its operations headquarters in the US to be fully dedicated to serving the North American market and pursue a growth strategy across the region.
The newly listed company will become North America’s leading building solutions company, with industry-leading market position to meet its customers' greatest ambitions with the most advanced building solutions from foundation to rooftop.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced **Marketing Director, Building Materials Division** , ideally with CPG experience, who has a passion for building. This individual would establish a go-to-market strategy for **North America** that shapes our new brand identity across our product portfolios and with our diverse customer audiences. Marketing leader would navigate the complexities of our marketplaces and create strategies for innovative, integrated marketing programs that target key audiences through traditional and digital advertising, PR, paid and organic social media and events.
Reporting to the VP, Marketing & Communications, this role would partner with commercial and cross-functional leaders as well as customers, advocacy groups and agency partners to meet our team and company goals. At the same time, the leader would be actively leading our rebranding efforts across North America once our new company is publicly listed.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
+ Design and implement marketing initiatives that drive product brand awareness, prepare the market for new products and align with business targets – from strategy, planning and execution to optimization and measurement
+ Create compelling content that showcases key milestones and differentiates our products through digital marketing, traditional media (PR), social media and digital channels, published pieces (case studies/white papers) and CRM
+ Drive CRM efforts to optimize lead gen and nurturing including generating marketing insights through regular feedback from sales and technical teams; anticipate future business needs and proactively gain alignment with cross functional partners.
+ Develop and execute trade show strategy, ensure management buy-in, and coordinate field resources needed to support effective participation
+ Grow digital channel bench-strength, including online marketing, CRM, direct marketing, web and digital presence and SEO; set KPIs, analyze and optimize channel performance on an ongoing basis to ensure performance meets or exceeds targets; build CRM capabilities
+ Connect execution to broader business goals, creating a feedback loop that provides ROI information and enable program optimization
+ Serve as liaison for company with associated trade and industry organizations
+ Advocate for the value of a strong brand energized by innovative marketing and emerging digital trend; facilitate Brand conversion activities related to acquisitions: facilities, packaging, documents, marketing collateral, etc.
+ Work with internal teams, marketing/communications and consulting resources to plan and execute campaigns
+ Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.
RELATIONSHIPS WITH OTHER ROLES
+ Interacts and collaborates with Building Materials leadership across North America, from cement to ACM and including SVPs/GMs, SVPs of ACM, manufacturing, sales and supply chain, and corporate functions.
+ Role also interacts with the leaders and colleagues within Group Communications and Marketing department.
+ The scope of this position is North America-wide and covers all business/product lines, including cement, concrete, aggregates and asphalt, as well as new business development (mergers & acquisitions).
+ Manage day-to-day relationships and marketing budget with external suppliers (vendors, digital agencies, suppliers and consulting resources)
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
**Education:** Bachelor's/Undergraduate Degree
**Field of Study Preferred:** Marketing, Brand Management, Communications
Required Work Experience:
+ 13+ years minimum of relevant brand marketing/communications experience with a proven track record of success in B2B and/or B2C marketing, including leading integrated digital marketing campaigns across paid, owned and earned channels.
+ Career experience in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) a strong plus.
+ Prior experience in the building industry a plus.
**Required Computer and Software Skills:** Proficient skills with Microsoft Office programs, Gmail, CRM programs (Pardot, Salesforce), Google analytics and Microsoft Office programs
**Travel Requirements:** Up to 20%
Additional Requirements:
+ Thorough knowledge of marketing principles, brand, digital and social media, advertising, creative design, and product management. Experience with web a plus.
+ Team player with a can-do attitude where no task is too big or small.
+ Exceptional written and oral communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders across a complex corporate environment.
+ Ability to prioritize and manage simultaneous projects in a fast-paced environment and maintain effectiveness when experiencing major changes in work tasks or work environment
+ Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
+ Experience working in a matrixed organization across a variety of geographies and cultures desired, including exposure to or experience performing in virtual environments.
+ Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
