Role Purpose
The Portfolio Manager - CCE works closely with leaders, administrators and project managers across BJC to ensure the alignment of all projects & initiatives, as well as the management of timelines and program deliverables for Center of Clinical Excellence (CCE) work streams. This position analyzes and manages risks and interdependencies within and across projects, and formulates solutions and contingency plans in consultation with stakeholders. This position also collaborates with CCE leaders in developing strategic direction regarding operating models in response to BJC senior leadership and organizational requirements for project, program, portfolio and continuous improvement efforts.
Responsibilities
+ Manages multiple complex projects, overseeing collaborations between cross-functional stakeholder teams for timely, successful achievement of goals; serves as a leadership liaison for stakeholders; manages matters of policy and institutional significance on behalf of CCE leadership.
+ Develops overarching strategies related to portfolio optimization to govern the portfolio and set a foundation for master plans and individual asset strategies; identifies opportunities for portfolio optimization, cost saving and improved ROI in the CCE portfolios.
+ Manages and maintains portfolio level budget through cost management, vendor management and efficient resource utilization; ensures tracking of key project milestones and adjusts project plans and/or resources to meet the needs of the project.
+ Leads, participates in and advises on strategic initiatives in collaboration with CCE leaders; responsible for partnering to develop strategic direction regarding operating models in response to BJC senior leadership and organizational requirements for project, program, portfolio and continuous improvement efforts.
+ Oversees portfolio management and project deliverables to ensure alignment of CCE initiatives and maintenance of timelines and deliverables in conjunction with other CCE workstreams; utilizes outstanding presentation, reporting and communication skills to work effectively with people at all levels within an organization.
