LOCATION OF POSITION: Monroe One BOCES - 41 O'Connor Road, Fairport NY 14450;O'Connor Academy

TERM OF EMPLOYMENT:10 Month Position; Full-Time

STARTING DATE: September 2025

SALARY RANGE: $48,500 - $78,642 per year

*Actual salary is dependent upon education, experience and contract.

DUTIES:

1. Provide IEP services resource room and consultant teacher services in accordance with NYS mandates.

2. Plan and provide instruction for students with disabilities in accordance with NYS mandates and standards.

3. Develop, implement and evaluate Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to meet student needs.

4. Work cooperatively with other private/parochial staff utilizing a team approach.

5. Effectively communicate among home, school staff, district and community agencies.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. NYS Certification in Special Education required.

2. Experience working with students with disabilities at the secondary level preferred.

3. Experience working with students who exhibit learning disabilities preferred.

4. Knowledge of the New York State Standards, secondary curriculum and NYS Assessments.

5. Experience with multi-sensory reading instruction preferred.

6. Physically able to perform essential functions of the position (with or without reasonable accommodation).
