Job Summary:

Our outpatient Mental Health practice located in Salem Virginia, seeks an additional provider to lead our multidisciplinary team. Our tenured team of experts offers highly individualized care to children and adolescents with common and complex psychiatric conditions. As part of an academic medicine clinic, we supervise resident physicians, training them to be the next generation of physician leaders. LewisGale Regional Health System partners with hundreds of physicians who share our common commitment to providing superior, compassionate care and evidence-based medicine.

Qualified Candidates/Details:

+ Must be ACGME board-certified or in the process of becoming board-certified

+ Must have a Virginia license or be able to obtain a Virginia License before start

+ Fellowship training and anticipated board certification in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry required

+ Established in 2018

+ 32 Psychiatry residents

+ Four-year ACGME-accredited program

+ Our residency program is housed at the Pavilion, a 68-bed psychiatric care unit located adjacent to our main medical center.
