We are looking for an experienced product manager thought leader to help us grow and operate this business. In this role you will be responsible for thinking big, setting direction and priorities, driving definitions, delivering results, growing customer adoption, and ensuring we exceed all customer expectations.

A day in the life

As a product management leader, you will be part of the larger technical community at Amazon. This community forms the backbone of the company, plays a critical role in the broad business planning, working closely with senior leaders to develop business targets and resource requirements, influences our long-term technical and business strategy, helps us hire talented team of engineers and ultimately enables us to deliver innovative and operationally sound solutions rapidly.

AWS Backup is a service that provides a fully managed backup solution that makes it easy to centralize and automate backing up application data across AWS services. Basic Qualifications

- 7+ years of working as a Technical Product Manager experience

- 5+ years of technical (software development, network development, IT, other related) experience

- Experience delivering large-scale SaaS, PaaS or LaaS products where you are responsible for the full product lifecycle, from concept through GTM (go to market)

Preferred Qualifications

- BA/BS required; BS in Computer Science / Engineering / Mathematics plus MBA preferred

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $163,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $281,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
