Description

We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Kentucky. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, thrives in a dynamic environment, and has a strong grasp of accounting principles. You will play a key part in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting various office functions.

Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts to maintain up-to-date records.

• Address and resolve discrepancies in outstanding invoices through thorough investigation and follow-up.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel to create, update, and analyze financial data and reports.

• Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for review.

• Assist with payroll processing, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.

• Perform account reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy and completeness.

• Support clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and correspondence to maintain efficient office operations.

• Use QuickBooks to manage and organize financial transactions efficiently.

• Collaborate with vendors to resolve payment issues and maintain positive relationships.

Requirements • Proven experience in bookkeeping with a strong understanding of accounting principles.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create and manage spreadsheets.

• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks for financial management and reporting.

• Familiarity with accounts payable and receivable processes.

• Demonstrated ability to reconcile bank statements and resolve financial discrepancies.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Experience in preparing monthly financial statements and managing month-end close processes.

• Ability to handle data entry and clerical tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
