Description

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and monitor the inbound movement of materials to ensure timely delivery from suppliers.

• Identify material requirements and collaborate with purchasing, production, and engineering teams to ensure alignment with project needs.

• Develop and refine specifications for new contracts, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.

• Utilize forecasting tools to optimize material planning and scheduling processes.

• Analyze trends in material usage and production to identify opportunities for process improvements.

• Support production teams by ensuring the availability of raw materials and resolving supply chain issues.

• Partner with suppliers to maintain strong relationships and ensure consistent communication.

• Assist in the development of prototypes by coordinating material specifications and delivery timelines.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline material planning and supply chain operations.

• Monitor and report on material flow, providing insights to support operational decisions.

Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.

• Strong understanding of supply planning processes and material handling procedures.

• Proven ability to analyze trends and provide actionable insights to improve operations.

• Experience with forecasting, scheduling, and optimization tools.

• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with suppliers and internal teams.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and apply sound judgment in solving complex challenges.

• Proficiency in monitoring tools and reporting systems to track material flow and performance.
