Description
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to assist our client in San Francisco. This is a long-term contract role focused on overseeing high-impact data and technology initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, particularly in data governance, stakeholder engagement, and integrating various business systems.
Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage multiple data integration and governance projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational goals.
• Oversee the migration from Snowflake to Databricks, maintaining detailed task management and clear communication.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, marketing, and customer experience, to support data-driven initiatives.
• Facilitate stakeholder management from C-level executives to team leads, providing regular updates on project risks and progress.
• Utilize tools such as Tableau, and dashboards to streamline project tracking and reporting.
• Work closely with data analysts and technical leads to optimize data structures and architecture.
• Develop and refine project intake and lifecycle processes, ensuring efficiency and scalability.
• Support the implementation of best practices for enterprise technologies and AI-driven automation.
• Prepare and deliver comprehensive status reports to senior leadership, highlighting key metrics and potential risks.
Requirements • A minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, with a focus on data and technology projects.
• Proficiency in tools like Atlassian Jira, Tableau, and Asana for project tracking and reporting.
• Strong understanding of data integrations involving systems such as Salesforce, NetSuite, and Zuora.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies, CRM platforms, and ERP systems.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
• Knowledge of Agile Scrum methodologies and budget management processes.
• Working knowledge of data governance and architecture principles.
• Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and collaborative approach.
