Description

We are looking for a meticulous Accounting Manager/Supervisor to lead our accounting team in Solano County, California. In this role, you will oversee critical financial operations, ensure compliance with regulations, and drive process improvements to optimize workflows. Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage daily accounting operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

• Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards while mitigating financial risks.

• Lead the accounting team by mentoring staff, conducting training sessions, and fostering skill development.

• Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

• Collaborate with external auditors, vendors, and stakeholders to maintain smooth operational relationships.

• Leverage auditing experience to manage internal and external audit requirements effectively.

• Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements to enhance accounting workflows.

• Participate in department-specific projects such as system upgrades, documentation, and financial integrations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from an accredited institution.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, including auditing expertise.

• Advanced proficiency in accounting software systems and tools

• Strong understanding of financial reporting principles and compliance requirements.

• Exceptional analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.

• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
