Description We are looking for a dedicated and meticulous Attorney/Lawyer to join our team in Houston, Texas. This role involves managing litigation cases, preparing for trials, and ensuring successful client outcomes. With no billable hour requirements and commission opportunities based on negotiated settlements, this position offers an exciting opportunity for growth.

Responsibilities:

• Review and approve new claims within the assigned jurisdiction, ensuring consistent case progression.

• Assist in managing and supervising jurisdictional inventory under the guidance of the Managing or Regional Attorney.

• Conduct document reviews, discovery processes, and execute legal documents requiring attorney signatures.

• Communicate effectively with clients and supervising attorneys to discuss case details and strategies.

• Respond to litigation-specific components of client audits, ensuring compliance with requirements.

• Stay updated on relevant legal rules, regulations, statutes, and case law to provide informed legal advice.

• Prepare, file, and manage legal documents essential for case proceedings.

• Collaborate with Pro Se litigants, opposing counsel, and other parties to negotiate settlements.

• Oversee interactions with external collections and defense counsel to ensure alignment with corporate compliance.

• Support adherence to laws and regulations governing debt collection and related legal activities. Requirements • Active license to practice law and in good standing with the State of Texas.

• Strong skills in case management, legal research, and document preparation.

• Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Acrobat, case management software, and document management systems.

• Experience or familiarity with civil litigation, claim administration, and creditor representation.

• Ability to analyze legal problems and predict case outcomes using legal precedents.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills for interacting with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties.

• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.

• Commitment to maintaining ethical standards and compliance with legal regulations.
