Description

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join our team in Marlborough, Massachusetts. This role will be pivotal in driving financial insights and supporting strategic decision-making by analyzing key performance metrics across divisions, regions, and products. The successful candidate will work closely with global business units and senior leadership to provide comprehensive financial reporting, forecasting, and planning.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the global annual operating plan process, collaborating with finance teams to implement process improvements and utilize advanced system capabilities.

• Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports by division, region, and function, identifying key performance drivers and trends.

• Provide focused analysis on critical areas such as global headcount reporting, travel and expense spending, and digital initiatives for senior management.

• Consolidate and evaluate company, divisional, and regional profit and loss statements, tracking variances against plans and forecasts.

• Manage quarterly forecasting cycles by defining requirements, troubleshooting issues, and partnering with global finance teams to deliver accurate financial statements.

• Enhance profit and loss modeling for quarterly and annual estimates, incorporating business inputs and external factors to compare trends against forecasts.

• Respond promptly to ad hoc requests from senior and executive management, delivering accurate and actionable financial insights.

• Assist in preparing schedules and reports for executive team updates and board meetings.

• Oversee global headcount reporting processes, coordinating with HR and finance to monitor workforce investments and growth.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize financial planning and analysis processes, increasing efficiency and supporting company-wide goals.

Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business.

• At least 5 years of experience in financial analysis, planning, and business support.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data effectively.

• Proven ability to navigate and simplify complex organizational structures for reporting and analysis.

• Highly organized with excellent project and process management skills.

• Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Exceptional attention to detail and advanced analytical capabilities.

• Proficiency in financial tools and systems, including Hyperion Planning/Smartview and Excel.
