    Description

    Summary: The Electrical Department Operations Manager is responsible for managing day-to-day activities, optimizing processes, and ensuring the department’s goals are achieved.

    Role and Responsibilities:

    + Provide leadership and direction to the department team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

    + Develop and implement operational strategies and plans to improve department performance and efficiency.

    + Monitor and evaluate department operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance interdepartmental coordination.

    + Manage and allocate resources effectively to meet departmental objectives and project requirements.

    + Monitor and maintain department budget, ensuring financial targets are met.

    + Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirement sand industry standards.

    + Oversee the implementation of quality control measures to ensure deliverables meet or exceed customer expectations.

    + Identify and resolve operational issues and conflict s in a timely manner.

    + Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and creativity within the department.

    + Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on department performance and progress towards goals.

    Qualifications

    Essential Skills & Characteristics:

    + Ability to work independently or as part of a team

    + Follow plans and instructions from supervisors or more experienced workers

    + Strict adherence to all safety rules and quality

    + Interact with all co-workers and clients in an attentive courteous manner

    + At times may perform clerical/administrative duties

    + Proven experience in operations management or a similar leadership role

    + Strong knowledge of operational processes and best practices

    + Excellent leadership and team management skills

    + Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities

    + Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities

    + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    + Proficiency in utilizing technology and software for operations management

    + Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

    Educational & Experience Requirements:

    + Bachelor’s Degree in related field, preferred

    + OSHA 30 certification

    + Advanced understanding of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
