Imaging Calibration Hardware Engineer

Minimum qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a specialized field (e.g., Optics, Sensors, Audio/DSP, etc.), or equivalent practical experience.
+ 2 years of experience of developing camera calibration processes.
Preferred qualifications:
+ Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field (e.g., Optics, Sensors, Audio/DSP).
+ Experience developing end-to-end calibration solutions (e.g., HW, SW, integration) for imaging systems.
+ Software development experience in C++ and Python with experience in version control systems.
+ Knowledge of statistics, spreadsheets, JMP, or Minitab.
+ Mechanical/HW/SW problem solving and optimization skills.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $126,000-$181,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. + Develop camera calibration processes in factory and in real-world.
+ Thermal modeling for cameras and lenses.
+ Research and innovate computer vision algorithms for mobile and wearable use cases.
+ Prototype calibrations for new camera use cases and form factors.
