    Job Title: Architectural Project Manager

    Job Description

    In this role, you will serve as the primary client contact and manage all aspects of architectural projects. You will apply your knowledge of architectural design, construction detailing, zoning and building codes, and building materials and systems. This leadership position involves mentoring and developing other staff members, with exposure to various healthcare, education, civic, housing, and commercial projects.

    Responsibilities

    + Oversee a team of architects to ensure projects are completed on time and meet specifications.

    + Delegate work and assignments to team members based on expertise, work experience, and time constraints.

    + Interface with principals, project teams, consultants, and clients.

    + Collaborate with multi-discipline design teams.

    + Conduct site planning and zoning research.

    + Attend planning, zoning, and/or municipal meetings.

    + Provide code review and analysis for project teams.

    + Create detailed plans for complex architectural construction drawings.

    + Identify and maintain project schedules, cost projections, and budget estimates.

    + Direct, supervise, and confirm activities of project teams in preparing drawings and specifications.

    + Utilize Bluebeam for organizing project materials and reviewing drawings.

    + Prepare and coordinate bid packages.

    + Confer with consultants to ensure standards are met and permits obtained.

    + Perform and/or oversee construction administration tasks, including submittal review, fieldwork, and documentation.

    + Maintain and comply with company and client project standards.

    + Document project time and expenses competently.

    + Understand proposals and contracts, identifying scope for additional services.

    + Participate in the pursuit and marketing of potential projects.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and construction documentation.

    + Experience in architectural design and project management.

    + 8 years of experience within the architecture industry as a project manager.

    + Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field.

    + Technical problem-solving skills.

    + Proficient in building codes and ADA requirements.

    + Effective communication, negotiation, and consulting skills.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).

    + Commitment to sustainable design.

    + Ability to interface with clients and handle multiple projects.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Cost estimating skills preferred.

    + Architectural license highly preferred.

    + Valid driver’s license.

    + Legally eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

    Work Environment

    The position is based in Scottsdale with a hybrid work model: in-office 3-4 days a week, typically Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, and remote work on Wednesday and Friday. The office is part of an expanding firm headquartered in Michigan, looking to grow in the Arizona valley.     Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
