CTG is seeking to fill a Chemical Mechanical Polish Technician** **opening for our client in Yorktown Heights, NY.

**Location:** Yorktown Heights, NY

**Duration:** Ongoing Contract

Shift opening is from 3PM to 12AM

Duties:

+ Operate and maintain reactive ion etch (RIE) tools within a cleanroom environment.

+ Process and characterize 200mm silicon wafers using in-FAB tooling and equipment.

+ Develop etch processes and perform experimental analysis under the guidance of research engineers.

+ Work closely with engineers and research teams to support advanced semiconductor device fabrication.

+ Document process parameters and results accurately; communicate findings and issues clearly.

+ Handle and work safely with chemicals and compressed gases required for semiconductor processing.

Skills:

+ Basic understanding of reactive ion etch fundamentals, plasma chemistry, and tool operation.

+ Strong analytical and computer skills for data analysis and process control.

+ Ability to execute tasks accurately and efficiently with minimal supervision.

+ Effective communicator; able to follow detailed procedures and document work thoroughly.

+ Strong safety practices when working with chemicals and in cleanroom environments.

Experience:

+ 0–2 years of relevant experience preferred.

+ Experience working in a cleanroom and/or semiconductor manufacturing environment is a plus.

+ Background in chemistry or physics is desirable.

Education:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
