About the Work Unit
The Business Process Expert, Supplier Relationship Mgmt Analyst III works in CDOT's Division of Accounting and Finance's Business Technology Unit. The unit supports fiscal and strategic functions of the Division of Accounting and Finance to meet and exceed its goals and objectives by leveraging efficient and analytic use of CDOT’s technologies and systems through implementing best business practices, standard functionality, and utilization of report tool sets.
About the Position
This position supports the following SAP modules: Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) and Materials Management (MM). This position works with business users to investigate possible enhancements to standard transactions utilizing changes to configuration and/or development of custom transactions which follow procurement standards and guidelines, State Fiscal Rules and Agency policies and procedures. This position supports procurement functionality including Vendor Master data, shopping carts, purchase orders, outline agreements, contract processing, inventory management, and material master data. The Analyst works with users at HQ and the regions assisting with trouble shooting problems that arise to determine if there are system problems or if users are in need of further training to properly use the correct transactions. This position responds to management reporting requests identifying tables as sources of data within SAP and determining report requirements for development.
Your duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

+ Works with the design and configuration of new business requirements, especially those related to SAP modules of SRM/MM.
+ Assists with other teams and SAP resources to arrive at solutions and designs that adhere to procurement rules and code, procedures, and policies.
+ Analyzes develops and recommends processes and models as part of the SRM/MM modules and systems used to meet CDOT's mission-critical goals.
+ Provides Operational Support for Business Processes within Procurement including:
+ Providing timely resolution of issues related to shopping carts, purchase orders, inventory, outline agreements and the contracting process in the SAP SRM and MM modules.
+ Providing second level support on operational issues related to technical system errors, bugs, and anomalies.
+ Supporting CDOT’s procurement, agreements, storerooms, while interacting with other SAP modules like FI/CO for accounting and project systems for projects.
+ Identifying potential alternatives to resolve system problems in a manner that supports the procurement processes of the work section while working within procurement and SAP guidelines.
+ Consults with other CDOT BPX's consultants and business staff to recommend ways to resolve issues and communicate to ERP support personnel an understanding of the underlying procurement and business processes that their programming efforts need to support.
+ Develops and executes Unit, Integration, Regression, and User Acceptance testing plans for the SRM and MM modules.
+ Other duties as assigned.
Work Environment:
+ Your schedule will primarily be 8:00 am – 5:00 pm work hours, Monday-Friday, but we are flexible to meet your work/life balance needs while ensuring CDOT business needs are met.

Experience Only
Must total at least 6 years and include:
+ Four years of experience in business administration, public administration, computer science, data science or analytics, information sciences, economics, statistics or another field closely related to the major job duties
+ AND, two years of full-time professional work experience in business process analysis, implementing new business processes with technology and troubleshooting end-user computer issues for an ERP system.
+ Experience with procurement modules in an ERP system is preferred.
Education and Experience
A combination of education and experience must total at least six years
+ Education from an accredited college or university in business administration, public administration, computer science, data science or analytics, information sciences, economics, statistics, or another field of study closely related to the major job duties will be considered.
+ Professional work experience work experience in business process analysis, implementing new business processes with technology and troubleshooting end-user computer issues for an ERP system will be considered.
+ Experience with procurement modules in an ERP system is preferred.

+ Ability to work under tight deadlines and be adaptable to changing assignments.

+ Excellent written and oral communication skills and including presentation and facilitation skills and experience.
