The Job:
As the Manager, Content Merchandising for The CW App, you will be a part of the Digital team responsible for championing a data-driven approach to content merchandising and optimization, while helping drive user engagement and discovery on and off platform and via digital promotions.
The Daily:
+ Work with the Senior Director on merchandising strategies including collection curations, content optimization opportunities and guiding personalization algorithms.
+ Review weekly and monthly insights to help inform decisions through analysis.
+ Create, resize and publish art assets for the CW streaming platform and partner marketing platforms.
+ Coordinate with Design and Marketing to receive and deliver design assets that meet UX needs.
+ Create and maintain the schedule, art and copy for push notifications, in-app messages and email newsletters.
+ Track performance of push/email/in-app messages engagement; analyze and generate reports for internal distribution to ensure business objectives are being met.
+ Partner with Insights & Research on audience segments and future segment optimizations via personalization.
+ Review title pages within the Content Management System, ensuring correct title metadata, content tagging and assigned art assets.
The Essentials:
+ Minimum 1-2 years experience performing in same or similar capacity as the job duties listed above.
+ Must have experience with Adobe Photoshop.
+ Experience utilizing the Braze consumer engagement planform preferred.
+ Knowledge of content personalization software desirable.
+ Previous entertainment industry experience preferred.
+ Passionate about TV, movies, and/or sports.
The Compensation
+ 80k – 90K /yr commensurate with experience and skill levels.
