One position for an hourly Maintenance Specialist is open at the Natchitoches EWP Mill. Qualified candidates will have comprehensive knowledge in more than on craft/trade. They are responsible to utilize maintenance and electrical processes and techniques to safely repair, modify, install, and maintain the facility and high-tech manufacturing equipment at the facility.

Pay is dependent upon experience.

*KEY FUNCTIONS:*

* Machinery lubrication and other preventative maintenance assignments.

* Repairing and troubleshooting mechanical power transmissions.

* Knowledge of precision alignment and maintenance tools for bearing installment, coupling, belts, sprockets, and chain drive installations.

* Repair and troubleshooting of Pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

* Metal fabrication and basic principles of cylinder repair.

* Some troubleshooting and exposure to Industrial Electrical and PLC issues.

* Provide assistance as needed to other team members, such as electricians, to ensure assigned tasks are safely executed.

* Other duties as assigned.

* High School Diploma or GED from an accredited agency/institution.

* A current resume or detailed list of education and work history required for consideration.

* Minimum of four (4) years industrial maintenance technician experience and/or an industrial maintenance degree.

* Knowledge of machinery lubrication.

* Ability to repair and troubleshoot mechanical power transmissions.

* Able to work any shift, weekends, overtime, holidays as needed.

* Able to work in extreme temperatures, in dusty and noisy conditions, while wearing safety equipment.

* Must have demonstrated leadership and team skills.

* Ability to write legibly and communicate as necessary to accomplish tasks.

* Able to complete forklift training.

* Willing and able to perform the essential functions of the position, which includes climbing stairs, navigating catwalks, lifting up to 32 pounds, stooping, and bending;

* Willingness and ability to work any shift assignment (including graveyards), which will involve work on weekends and holidays;

* Willingness and ability to work a 12-hour shift; and

* Ability to work at heights, in adverse weather conditions, and in challenging positions without issue.
