The **Armed Security Officer** position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Armed Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers and serve as a physical deterrent.

    _Armed Security Officer Requirements:_

    + _21 years of age or older_

    + _High School Diploma or GED Required_

    + _Basic Computer skills_

    + _Calm, polite, and professional behavior._

    + _Reliable and self-motivated._

    + _High level customer service_

    + _PSR evaluation required_

    + _Military, law enforcement or armed security experience preferred_

    + _Valid Driver's License_

    Typical Job Duties:

    + Patrols assigned site on foot or in vehicle; checks for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized persons.

    + Responding to emergency situations where rapid and effective judgment, appropriate escalation and use of force may be required.

    + Working directly with law enforcement, government staffing and the community.

    + Writing detailed incident reports on unauthorized entries, suspicious activity, emergency situations, and any other observed issues.

    + Security screening all persons coming through the public entrance to ensure prohibited items are not entering facilities.

    + Monitors surveillance cameras. The ability to utilize a tablet, computer, or smartphone.

    + Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county and municipal licensing and permit requirements for Security Officers
