    Key Responsibilities

    + Testing inbound cylinders for gas purity and type, data entry of test results

    + Collaborate with the Lab for troubleshooting results

    + Operating Micro GC equipment

    + Sorting and weighing cylinders by product type for pre-production

    + Inspect cylinders prior to filling, fill based on pressure and weight

    + Other duties as assigned

     

    Experience, Knowledge, and Qualification

    Essential

    + High School Diploma or equivalent required

    + Must be able to obtain EPA 608 Certification within first 6 months of employment

    + Must be available to work at least 40 hours per week and be available for overtime hours

    + Must have high attention to detail to receive, inspect, and certify incoming and outgoing cylinders

    + Must be able to follow standard operating procedures

    + Must be able to handle high-pressure and liquid cylinders

    + Previous experience working with compressed gas and/or gas cylinders is a plus

    Physical Requirements

    + Frequently pushes, pulls, moves and/or lifts up to 50 pounds independently

    + Sitting 10% of the day; standing and/or walking 80-90% of the time

    + Lifting/Carrying from one level to another approximately 20%

    + Occasionally moves cylinders that weigh up to 200 pounds with four-wheel cart

    + Frequently ascends/descends stairs and/or ladders, occasionally carrying materials weighing up to 30lbs

    + Frequently identifies written information on cylinders such as serial numbers, manufacture date, etc.

    + Frequently operates a computer using a traditional keyboard to input detailed information such as serial numbers

    + Manipulations (seizing, holding, grasping or otherwise working with hands) up to 50-75% of the day

    + Frequently drives a motorized vehicle or powered industrial truck (i.e. Forklift) and safely mauver in restrictive spaces

    + Stooping and kneeling up to 20% of the day

    + Frequently communicates detailed information to others. Must be able to exchange accurate information that others can understand.

    + Constantly works in environments with uncontrolled climate and frequent exposure to outdoor weather conditions
