Job Description

A large financial client is looking for a Second Loan Closer to join their organization. This person will be joining the Global Market Loan Operations team within the Operations division. The main responsibility of this role will be to provide documentation and analytical support within global markets loan operations in a trade closing and settlement capacity.

Responsibilities will include:

- They will be responsible for the coordination of all documentation related to the settlement of bank loan trades within the primary and secondary markets.

- This person will go into Clearpar, where all the required documents will be generated, and they will ensure the transfer certificate, funding memo and additional documentation are accurate. They will coordinate the execution of these documents.

- They will work with the other settlement and servicing teams for funding of the positions.

- They will work internally with traders, salespeople, research analysts, trading counterparties, internal and external legal counsel, administrative agent banks and various internal operations groups.

- This candidate could get involved with process and technological enhancements that will serve to improve team efficiencies which will result in shortening settlement times and diminishing post trade risk associated with trading counterparties and credit borrowers.

Skills and Requirements

- 3+ years of experience with banking

- 2+ years of experience within secondary lending (either settlement or closing)

- Experience with Clearpar

- Strong attention to detail and communication skills

- Previous client facing experience is required null
