Hours: 8-hour

** You must have experience in training newly hired nursing staff, including Registered Nurses CNAs, etc. Onboarding providers by training them on the Meditech EHR system and run reports for clinical data analysis and request custom reports as needed.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):

+ Customize the Meditech EHR platform for nursing administration.

+ Support the IT ticketing system for clinical requests.

+ Attend local nursing administrator meetings.

+ Serve as a provider liaison for HMC.

+ Update order sets and build custom provider templates for documentation.

+ Create ESARF requests for remote access to the EHR system.

+ Troubleshoot any issues that arise with Meditech.

+ Manage clinical Meditech servers via VMware.

Qualifications

Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers. You must have:

+ High School Diploma required for all new hires starting 4/1/14.

+ Bachelor’s degree in clinical healthcare field, Business Discipline, Healthcare Management, Health Information management or Information Science or equivalent experience

+ 2 years work experience in a hospital settingrequired.

Additional Qualifications That Are a Plus

+ Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse ; preferred

+ Clinical experience preferred.

+ Interpersonal skills necessary to deal with and establish working relationships with physicians, hospital personnel and co-workers
