Job Description
Insight Global is looking for an Analytical Chemist to join the R&D organization of a large Medical Device company. The Chemist will be responsible for hands on laboratory activities including executing analytical tests and techniques. On a daily basis, they will be utilizing High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC,) and Gas Chromatography (GC) instruments to run test methods for raw materials and solvents. Their job duties include the following:
a. Receives and organizes samples in the lab
b. Prepare and analyze samples and standards as per indicated Test method or instructions
c. Prepare and analyze samples and standards as per indicated CRMs or QCRMs method
d. Set up instrumentation as needed for analysis, able to maintain, troubleshoot, repair instruments adhering to all quality and safety procedures.
e. Process data and develop reports via Empower, Chromeleon and Labware LIMS
f. Perform OOS/OOT analysis and reports as needed
g. Communicate internally to verify, update or report results throughout analytical processes and if needed with external partners
h. Support validations via testing and data analysis based on validation protocols
i. Support protocols development via testing and data analysis
This position is onsite 5 days a week and can pay starting at $30/hour based off experience.

Skills and Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry/Analytical Chemistry
-Hands on Chromatography experience required (HPLC or GC) instrumentation experience
-minimum of 1 year experience performing HPLC
- Strong communication and collaboration skills -GLP/GMP/QA experience
-Mass spectrometry experience
-Experience using Empower, Chromeleon or LIMS systems null
