    TheIdaho Transportation Departmentis currently hiring aLandscape Technicianto assist with grounds maintenance at our properties in theBliss area. This is atemporary, full-time position(40 hours per week) lastingup to 5 months. Please note that this position doesnot include benefits.

     

    We’re looking for a dependable and hardworking individual to perform a variety of general landscaping and grounds maintenance tasks. This includes operating and maintaining landscaping equipment and assisting other crews with related work as needed.

     

    NOTE: This position involves operating an ITD vehicle; as such, apre-employment driving record checkis required.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Mowing lawns and maintaining landscaped areas

    + Painting as needed around the property

    + Cleaning and maintaining landscaping equipment

    + Assisting other crews with miscellaneous tasks

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + At leastsix monthsorone seasonof relevant work experience

    + Home yard work isnot considered qualifying experienceunless performed on alarge, professionally maintained property
