We are looking for an experienced Senior or Staff Data Engineer to join our client's team in West Hollywood, CA. In this role, you will design, build, and manage robust data platforms that support a range of structured and unstructured data workloads. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies, enabling impactful data solutions for financial and business analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines and storage solutions to handle both structured and unstructured data.

• Develop and optimize data processing workflows using tools like Apache Airflow, Airbyte, and Python.

• Build scalable and efficient data models, including dimensional and wide table designs, ensuring optimal performance.

• Work with real-time data streaming platforms such as Kafka, Kinesis, or Pub/Sub to process and analyze data in real time.

• Leverage cloud-based data warehouses like Redshift or BigQuery for data storage and advanced analytics.

• Apply GenAI/LLMs to tackle challenges in document processing, conversational analytics, and code generation.

• Create predictive models, time-series forecasts, and scenario projections to support financial and business decision-making.

• Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and manage containerized environments with tools like Kubernetes and Helm.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data architecture with organizational goals and communicate technical strategies effectively.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

• At least 8 years of experience in designing and managing data platforms for diverse workloads.

• Proficiency in data storage and processing tools, including Airflow, Airbyte, Python, and distributed frameworks like Spark.

• Expertise in real-time streaming technologies such as Kafka, Kinesis, or Pub/Sub.

• Strong knowledge of dimensional and wide table data modeling, including performance optimization techniques.

• Proven experience with GenAI/LLMs for implementing advanced data solutions.

• Hands-on expertise in predictive modeling, time-series forecasting, and financial data analysis.

• Familiarity with modern DevOps practices, including CI/CD, containerization, and infrastructure-as-code.
