Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to join our team in Boardman, Ohio. This Contract to permanent position offers an excellent opportunity for a skilled individual with payroll expertise to contribute to a dynamic environment within the food and food processing industry. The ideal candidate will ensure payroll accuracy and compliance while supporting various accounting tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Process and verify payroll data to ensure timely and accurate payments.

• Utilize payroll systems such as ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, Dayforce, and About Time to manage payroll functions.

• Assist in maintaining accurate records of benefits, deductions, and employee information.

• Collaborate with the accounting team to reconcile accounts payable and audit payroll transactions.

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.

• Address and resolve payroll discrepancies in a timely manner.

• Generate detailed payroll reports and provide insights to the management team.

• Support the implementation of payroll process improvements as needed.

• Assist with additional accounting functions related to payroll operations. Requirements • Proficiency in payroll systems such as ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, Dayforce, and About Time.

• Strong knowledge of accounting functions, including accounts payable and auditing.

• Familiarity with benefit functions and payroll-related regulations.

• Demonstrated experience in maintaining accuracy and confidentiality in payroll processing.

• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to analyze and resolve payroll discrepancies efficiently.

• Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and management.

• Prior experience in the food and food processing industry is a plus.
