Description

We are looking for an experienced Billing Supervisor/Manager to lead and optimize billing operations in Cincinnati Ohio. This role involves managing a remote team, ensuring efficient invoicing and cash application processes, and driving continuous improvement in billing practices. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a background in construction industry billing.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation and distribution of invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely cash application.

• Lead, mentor, and manage a remote billing team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

• Develop and refine billing processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with industry standards.

• Monitor key performance indicators to ensure billing operations align with service level agreements.

• Generate and analyze financial reports, providing actionable insights to senior management.

• Collaborate with accounting, finance, and customer service teams to streamline billing operations.

• Leverage billing software and tools to automate processes and reduce errors.

• Identify and resolve billing discrepancies, implementing corrective measures to mitigate risks.

• Ensure compliance with contractual billing requirements, including AIA documents and construction-specific billing practices.

Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in billing management or a related field.

• Proficiency in AIA billing and construction industry billing functions.

• Strong knowledge of billing collections, shared services, and contractual billing processes.

• Experience working with AIA documents and construction-related billing practices.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with financial tools.

• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage remote teams effectively.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work with cross-functional teams.
