Description We are looking for a skilled and motivated Paralegal to join our team in Chicago, Illinois. In this role, you will provide essential legal support to two partners specializing in plaintiff work, including medical malpractice, nursing home, construction, and premises liability cases. This position offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where attention to detail and strong communication skills are key.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and schedule depositions, ensuring timely and accurate arrangements.

• Prepare and respond to discovery requests in accordance with legal standards and deadlines.

• Communicate regularly with clients, providing updates on case progress and addressing inquiries.

• Assist in legal research and document drafting to support case preparation.

• Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documentation is complete and accessible.

• Collaborate with attorneys to ensure smooth and efficient case management.

• Support the preparation of trial materials and exhibits as needed.

• Maintain courteous and precise communication with all parties involved in cases. Requirements • Proven experience as a paralegal, preferably in medical malpractice or related fields.

• Familiarity with plaintiff work, including nursing home, construction, and premises liability cases.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Proficiency in legal research and document preparation.

• Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Knowledge of deposition scheduling and discovery processes.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or paralegal certification preferred.
