Description We are looking for an experienced Staff Accountant to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Garland, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a range of accounting tasks to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic organization while developing your expertise in accounting practices.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.

• Review and audit multi-state sales tax reports to ensure compliance with tax regulations.

• Reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure proper documentation.

• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for individual corporations and consolidated entities.

• Generate monthly borrowing base reports and other required financial documents for banking institutions.

• Compile necessary documentation for external audits and reviews.

• Collaborate with other accounting teams and contribute to special projects as needed.

• Create advanced Excel reports for ad hoc financial analysis and decision-making. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.

• Skilled in performing bank reconciliations and maintaining financial accuracy.

• Strong knowledge of general ledger management and journal entries.

• Experience with month-end close procedures and financial reporting.

• Familiarity with accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP.

• Ability to analyze financial data and produce detailed reports.

• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
