    POS Test Analyst

    Required Skills

    Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent related work experience.

     

    Years of experience: 7+ in Quality Engineering experience

     

    Must have skills- Point of Sales Experience working in agile framework

     

    Test creation

     

    Test Execution

     

    Defect logging

    JIRA

    Zephyr

     

    Concept of Agile Framework

     

    Individual Contributor

     

    Communication skills

     

    Roles and Responsibilities

     

    Primary skillset for POS testing preferably exposure to Oracle Xstore. Downstream testing through mainframe. Validating Logs and validating bank logs.

     

    Analyzing business requirements and technical specification documents to prepare test plans and test strategy.

     

    Preparing Test plan document for POS (Point of Sale) application.

     

    Defect reporting tracking Defect Consolidation Defect Prioritization & Status Reporting

     

    Participated in Defect Triage calls and coordinated with cross functional teams for fixes.

     

    Writing extensive SQL queries to communicate with the Oracle Backend for data accuracy integrity and security checks.

     

    Concept of Agile Framework especially SAFE, JIRA and Zephyr. Along with this basic knowledge of Test creation, Test Execution and Defect logging.

     

    Individual Contributor with good communication skills.
