    Job Title: Welder

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated and motivated individual with construction labor experience to join our team as a welder. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to learn the iron working trade. During the first six months, you will work as a general laborer on various projects, assisting with site setup, cleanup, and supporting skilled workers. After six months, you will transition to a full-time iron worker position. The pay rate will be between $20 - $23 an hour. We are looking to interview candidates as soon as possible.

    Responsibilities

    + Assist on site with set-up, clean-up, and break-down activities.

    + Support the foreman with various labor tasks on site.

    + Carry equipment to different parts of the site for setup by skilled workers.

    + Shadow skilled laborers to learn the trade and understand company operations.

    Essential Skills

    + Construction labor experience (skilled or unskilled).

    + Experience in carpentry, iron working, welding, or sheet metal.

    + Experience working on commercial construction sites.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Reliable transportation to and from the site each day.

    + Ability to work in various weather conditions and dress appropriately for cold days.

    Work Environment

     

    You will report directly to the construction site daily, working from 7am to 3:30pm, with potential for longer days depending on the job. The sites are primarily located in northern Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire. Be prepared to work outside in the elements, including cold weather, and dress appropriately for the conditions.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
