Diesel or Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Diesel/Heavy Equipment mechanic to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems. The ideal candidate should effectively read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics and perform all scheduled preventive maintenance inspections of chassis, vacuum body, hydraulic, electrical, air, and water systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ High School Diploma or GED

+ Minimum of three (3) years of verifiable experience as a mechanic

+ Experience with truck-mounted vacuum equipment (preferred)

Work Environment

The position is based in a service repair shop. The work hours are day shifts, either 8 AM - 5 PM or 7 AM - 4 PM, Monday through Friday, with some call outs but no weekend work.

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $66560.00/yr.
