    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting our licensed pharmacists in providing high-quality pharmaceutical care to our patients. You will work in a fast-paced and customer-focused environment ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medications while adhering to all relevant laws and regulations.

    Responsibilities

    + Prepare and label prescription medications for dispensing.

    + Measure, count, and package medications according to prescription orders.

    + Replenish medication in automated cells to full capacity, opening large quantities of bottles and cases of product.

    + Ensure the proper labeling and instructions for patient use on medication containers.

    + Maintain an organized and clean dispensing area.

    + Conduct regular stock rotation to prevent expiration of medications.

    + Adhere to all federal, state, and local pharmacy laws and regulations.

    + Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times.

    + Assist in record-keeping and documentation of prescription and medication-related information.

    Essential Skills

    + Indiana Pharmacy Technician License

    + High School Diploma or equivalent

    + Previous pharmacy experience

    + Ability to select and lift objects from shelves and carry to order filling line

    + Ability to consistently carry 20 - 30 lbs. of merchandise short distances and 15 lbs. of merchandise on an extended basis from order filling station to conveyor

    + Must be able to walk and stand throughout the entire shift

    + Basic math, reading, and writing skills

    The pay range for this position is $19.70 - $19.70/hr.
