    Job Description

    We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, designing, verifying, and documenting Application-Specific Integrated Circuits (ASIC) and Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA). This role involves determining architecture design, logic design, and system simulation. Assignments include the analysis of all aspects from high-level design to synthesis, place and route, timing, and power utilization.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Develop and verify ASIC and FPGA designs.

    + Determine architecture design, logic design, and system simulation.

    + Analyze all aspects from high-level design to synthesis, place and route, and timing and power utilization.

    + Utilize specialized equipment to establish operation data, conduct experimental tests, and evaluate results.

    + Support Circuit Card Designers with trade studies.

    + Develop and release design requirement specifications for products.

    + Debug and troubleshoot FPGA-related issues in a production environment.

    + Perform signal integrity analysis and power distribution network design.

    + Design and implement high-speed digital circuits.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration of FPGA designs into larger systems.

    + Conduct design reviews and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.

    + Develop and maintain design documentation and test plans.

    + Support the development and implementation of automated test systems for FPGA validation.

    Skills & Qualifications:

    + Bachelor of Science or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.

    + 8+ years of experience in FPGA design with a BS, or 6+ years of experience with an MS.

    + 6+ years of experience in HDL programming with VHDL, Verilog, and/or System Verilog.

    + 6+ years of experience in Hardware-Software Integration and Validation.

    + 6+ years of experience with FPGA toolsets.

    + Strong understanding of digital signal processing (DSP) techniques and their implementation in FPGA.

    + Experience with high-speed serial interfaces (e.g., PCIe, Ethernet, DDR).

    + Proficiency in using simulation and synthesis tools (e.g., ModelSim, Vivado, Quartus).

    + Experience with embedded systems and microcontroller programming.

    + Ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $98.94 - $98.94/hr.
