    Job Description

    We are seeking skilled Aircraft Body Repairers to join our team and work on CRJ 200, 700, and 900 aircraft models. The role involves heavy maintenance, including C and D checks, as well as hangar maintenance supporting multiple aircraft cycles. Repairs will be conducted on sheet and extruded metal structural parts according to design specifications, using a variety of tools and machinery.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform heavy maintenance (C and D checks) on CRJ 200, 700, and 900 aircraft.

    + Support hangar maintenance for 2-3 aircraft on cycle.

    + Conduct repetitive reliability checks, gear changes, and heavy maintenance on aircraft from various operators.

    + Repair sheet and extruded metal structural parts using hand tools, power tools, and metalworking machinery.

    + Read design specifications or examine sample parts to determine fabrication procedures.

    Essential Skills

    + A license in aircraft maintenance.

    + Ability to provide basic hand tools.

    + Valid driver's license.

    + Ability to obtain an airport SIDA badge.

    + 1+ years of aircraft maintenance or line maintenance experience.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Preferred experience with CRJ 200, 700, 900, or other regional jets.

    + Very flexible on experience.

    Work Environment

     

    Located at Richmond International Airport, the team consists of 12 mechanics plus management and supervisors. The shift schedule is from 9 PM to 9 AM, with a rotation of 3 days on, 4 days off, and 4 days on, 3 days off, requiring work every other Saturday. The role is a short-term contract, with flexibility in experience and openness to contractors.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
